Jurassic Encounter LLC d/b/a Holiday Light Spectacular

Key Points at a Glance

01 Show & Show Management

The Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular ("Show") is a seasonal outdoor holiday light experience located at 11611 N. Community House Road, Charlotte, NC 28277. The Show is owned and operated by Jurassic Encounter LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as Holiday Light Spectacular ("Show Management," "we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing tickets, submitting an inquiry, or entering the Show premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.

02 Tickets as a Revocable License

All tickets to the Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular are a revocable license granting the ticket holder access to the Show on the specified date, time window, and at the venue indicated at purchase. This license may be revoked at any time — without refund — for violation of Show rules, code of conduct, or applicable law, or for any other reason at the sole discretion of Show Management.

Tickets are date- and time-window-specific unless labeled "Anytime" admission. Date-specific tickets are valid only for the session and date selected at the time of purchase and cannot be transferred to a different date.

Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets will not be replaced. Show Management is not responsible for tickets lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged after electronic delivery.

03 All Sales Final — No Refunds

All ticket sales are FINAL. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to personal schedule changes, illness, family emergencies, traffic or travel delays, or dissatisfaction with any aspect of the Show.

The Show operates RAIN OR SHINE. Cold temperatures, light rain, or seasonal weather conditions are not grounds for a refund or exchange. The Show will be cancelled only in the event of an extreme weather emergency (such as a named storm, tornado warning, or lightning strike within the venue area) or a determination by Show Management that attendance poses a direct and imminent safety hazard.

In the rare event of a full-show cancellation initiated by Show Management, ticket holders will be offered a credit, rescheduling option, or refund of face value, at Show Management's sole discretion. Travel costs, lodging, or other incidental expenses incurred by guests are not refundable under any circumstances.

Discounted advance ticket prices are valid at the time of purchase only. Advance pricing is not retroactively applied and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

04 Ticket Delivery & Entry

Tickets are delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout. Tickets will not be mailed to a physical address. Guests must present their ticket at the entrance via a printed copy or electronic display on a mobile device.

Ticket barcodes will be scanned at the gate. Duplicate scans of the same barcode will be denied entry. Show Management is not responsible for tickets forwarded, shared, or duplicated by the original purchaser.

A valid government-issued photo ID may be required for certain premium experiences, including Santa's Private Workshop.

Onsite ticket sales may be available at the gate at increased pricing, inclusive of applicable taxes and fees, while inventory permits. Show Management does not guarantee onsite availability.

Advance ticket sales may close before the show date when inventory is sold out. Session availability is first-come, first-serve.

05 Admission Types & Add-On Experiences

Admission Types

Ticket types include General Admission (by date and time window), VIP Admission, and Anytime Admission (valid any operating night, no date selection required). Each ticket type includes the benefits described on our website at the time of purchase. Show Management reserves the right to modify the benefits included with any ticket type and will provide advance notice of material changes.

Add-On Experiences

Add-on purchases — including but not limited to the Magical Snowflake Wand, Winter Wonderland Carnival Rides, Santa's Private Workshop, Fire Pit Reservation, Holiday Gathering Space, Souvenir Mug, and Express Passes — are sold separately from admission unless explicitly bundled at checkout. Add-ons are subject to limited availability and may sell out. Prices for add-ons are lower in advance and increase on-site.

Magical Snowflake Wand

The Magical Snowflake Wand is an interactive RFID-enabled add-on available for purchase separate from admission. Wand colors and styles vary and are not guaranteed. Wands are distributed at the Wand Hut upon arrival for guests who pre-purchased. The Wand is a souvenir item — it is not a ticket and does not grant admission.

Santa's Private Workshop

Santa's Private Workshop is strictly limited to 10 children per night, with up to 2 parents or guardians per child. Guests must hold valid 5:30pm admission tickets for the same date. Check-in at the Workshop location is required by 5:00pm. No refunds will be issued if a guest arrives after the check-in window and misses the experience.

VIP Benefits

Hot Chocolate priority line access is an exclusive benefit of VIP admission and is not available as a standalone add-on. Carnival ride tickets are sold in bundles of four; individual ride tickets are not available. Ride availability is subject to weather, mechanical, and staffing conditions and is not guaranteed.

Note on Carnival Rides: Carnival rides are operated by an independent vendor. Ride availability, safety standards, and any associated risks are governed by the independent operator. Height and age restrictions apply and will be posted at each ride. Show Management is not responsible for injuries sustained on carnival rides operated by independent vendors.

06 Show Hours & Schedule

The Show operates nightly from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, with modified hours on Christmas Eve and closure on Christmas Day, except as otherwise indicated on our website. All hours are local Eastern Time.

Show Management reserves the right to modify operating hours, dates, or schedule at its sole discretion, including early closures for private events, maintenance, or safety concerns. The Show is not responsible for any costs incurred by guests — including travel or lodging — in connection with schedule modifications.

07 Conduct & Safety

All ticket holders agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and posted policies established by Show Management and the venue. Violation of Show rules is grounds for immediate removal from the premises without refund.

Show Management reserves the right to remove any guest — without refund — for behavior including but not limited to:

All guests and their belongings are subject to reasonable inspection before entering the Show, including bag checks and, where applicable, metal detection. By purchasing a ticket or entering the venue, you consent to such inspection.

No outside alcohol, glass containers, or weapons of any kind are permitted on the premises.

No pets are permitted. All service animals must be registered in advance by emailing team@ncholidaylights.com and must present proper service animal documentation at the gate upon arrival.

There is no guarantee of no lines with the purchase of any ticket, including VIP. Tables and seating, where available, are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

09 Photography & Image Rights

By entering the Show premises, ticket holders grant Show Management irrevocable, royalty-free permission to photograph, film, and record them as part of the general audience and to use their image or likeness in promotional, marketing, and archival materials in any medium, without compensation.

Guests may photograph and video the Show for personal, non-commercial use. You may not transmit, broadcast, or publish audio or video recordings of the Show for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Show Management.

Commercial photography, professional video production, drone operation, or any commercial use of Show intellectual property requires advance written approval. To request permission, contact team@ncholidaylights.com.

10 Intellectual Property & Ticket Resale

Tickets may not be resold, transferred for profit, or used as a prize or promotional giveaway without prior written permission from Show Management. Unauthorized resale is grounds for immediate cancellation of the ticket without refund.

It is unlawful to reproduce, duplicate, or counterfeit tickets. Counterfeit tickets will be refused at the gate with no recourse or refund.

The Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular name, logo, and all associated show elements, characters, and design assets are the intellectual property of Jurassic Encounter LLC and may not be used, reproduced, or represented without express written authorization.

In such events, Show Management's sole obligation to ticket holders is, at its discretion: a date-change or credit option, or — in the case of a full cancellation of the entire season — a refund of face value excluding taxes and fees.
